Hello everyone, for those of you who don't know me my name is Chris, i met eric ALONG time ago on the yahoo civic club, i've been meaning to come over here and meet some of you people. I use to own a 88 DX but then i wrecked that and switched my parts to my Si (my DX in now becoming a road racing car smile )

Anyways, my Si is overheating not tottaly but it often reads 3/4 on my temp gauge, and i'm really running outta ideas on what it is. When it first started, i got a new thermostat, that didn't work. Then i flushed and changed the coolant and bought a new radatior cap just in case, but again to no avail. Finally i got my radatior flow checked and low and behold, a normal radatior flows like 15 gallons a minuet, mine was doin 8 gallons. So i got a new on put in and it seemed ok for like a week, then it started all over again.

Now the waterpump is fine, i know it flows, its not leaking or making noise. The fans are almost always trying to cool the car down so i know they work. And i have no leaks whatsoever. My last idea is that maybe my AC condesor sits too close to my new rad, and since its old im thinking the fins on it might be plugged like my old radatior was, thus letting no air thru. I'm gonna pull it this weekend and see. But please if anyone has any ideas please feel free to share your opinions.
